ICON Foundation or Institute of Child Neurosciences Foundation was born out of marriage between 35 years old pediatric specialty hospital - DACH (Formerly called as Dr. Atul's Child Hospital) and a league of responsible men and women of Jaipur. It was felt that there is an unprecedented burden of neurological, behavioural and developmental conditions in the Indian setting. These conditions such as Epilepsy, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Social Communication Disorder, Depression, Developmental Delay and many more require astute and long term interventions for proper management. Creating awareness, outreach programs, availability of appropriate infrastructure, skilled personnel and at the same time affordable care is critical in providing successful management for children with neurological illness or special needs. Therefore, the idea of ICON Foundation was conceived to provide one stop solution at affordable costs to the needy.
